On 1st, 2nd and 3rd May 2026, Les jardins de la Ballue, a loyal partner of Neurodon for 20 years, invites you to support neuroscience research by visiting its gardens!
By visiting the gardens during these three days, each admission will result in a €2 donation to the “Foundation for Brain Research” (FRC).
As every year, around a hundred exceptional parks and gardens are helping to raise funds for research into neurological diseases such as Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis and epilepsy.
Since the launch of the ‘Open Gardens’ initiative in 2003, 330,000 visitors have enabled the Foundation to raise nearly €662,000.
Around thirty gardens in Brittany are also taking part in the event in partnership with the “Association des Parcs et Jardins de Bretagne” (APJB).
Both historic monuments and works of contemporary art, and designated as “Jardin Remarquable”, the gardens of La Ballue offer a marvellous spectacle at this time of the year. It is the highlight of the flowering season for the famous wisteria avenue. The soft greens of the hornbeam hedges and golden privets play in the light, contrasting with the dark green of the yews. Come and lose yourself in the maze and admire the vast landscape set against the Couesnon valley.
