15th edition
For its 15th edition, the Extension Sauvage festival will take place from June 19 to 21, 2026, between Combourg and the Château de la Ballue. Advance tickets will be available online starting May 12. View the full program here.
Created in 2011 by Latifa Laâbassi, this contemporary dance festival organized by the Figure Project association invites audiences each year to discover choreographic works set against the scenic backdrop of the town of Combourg, its castle, and the remarkable gardens of Château de la Ballue. Through intense, immersive, and particularly sensitive artistic forms, these landscapes are transformed for a weekend into spaces for play and experimentation.
For over 10 years, the festival has been dedicated to offering an eclectic program of live performances in natural settings to reveal the landscapes and explore perspectives on public space through the unique vision of the artists. With a program of contemporary works that explore our relationship to time, identities, and social and political transformations, the festival invites us to slow down, shift our perspective, and inhabit the landscape in the present moment.
Once again this year, renowned artists will be in attendance, including Betty Tchomanga, Myriam Gourfink, Boris Charmatz, Emmanuelle Huynh, Christian Sebille, and Maria del Mar Suárez La Chachi.
